I’m Zoe, I’m 39 and I live in a 2.5 bedroom 1930’s semi in the South London suburbs with my husband and two littles.

I spent 16 years working in the City in banking and financial control. Now I’m a full-time mum, maker, and entrepreneur, taking this crazy life with kids one gin and tonic at a time.

I launched this venture in 2018 because I believe that with a little help and a few small tweaks here and there, everyone can love the home they're in. It is possible to feel calm, happy and uplifted just by walking into a room, and I think we all deserve to feel like that when we come home. And with so many of the high street stores and supermarkets extending their homeware ranges, it's more achievable than ever.

Highlights of my little business so far include being featured in Home Style magazine, opening my Etsy shop selling kids decor accessories, the interior styling workshops I’ve run for some lovely little groups, getting to take part in some cool brand partnerships, walking into IKEA Croydon and seeing my photos on the huge plasma screen (lol!) and being sociable with so many of you on good old insta. It really has helped me to feel like we’re all in this together.

Daily life is school runs, softplays, coffee, tantrums, bickering, ferrying to clubs, trying to sneak in a bit of work, nit combs, homework, arguments about the homework, cooking, and tidying up. In fact put tidying up first because that’s the main thing. Oh and eating frazzles. In the evenings, if I’m not on Instagram you can find me watching some gritty drama on Netflix or in bed with a book. And a glass of white wine, always.

I wear my heart on my sleeve, and like many women, live with constant self-doubt and extreme levels of mum guilt. Having suffered from post-natal depression and anxiety myself (and believe me there are still bad days) I think it’s really important to be open about mental health, and in the positive role social media can play. So you’ll only ever get me and my daily reality… and hopefully you’ll find my home and my posts achievable, real, and maybe even a bit inspiring.

So have a little read, check out my Instagram, and come and say hello xx
